QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

  • Do you offer FREE estimates?
    Yes we do.
  • How hot does the water get?
The thermal sensor is designed to maintain the hot water temperature in the hot water pipe between 98 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit. It will not take long for the temperature of the hot water at the faucet or shower head to reach the temperature set on your hot water heater. We recommend that water heater temperatures be set between 120 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • How fast is instant?
Where the thermal sensor valves are installed the hot water will be immediate. Other sinks and your shower will depend on how far they are from the main hot water line. These locations typically will take 10 to 20 seconds to start receiving hot water . Additional sensor valves can be installed at locations where you want instant hot water with virtually no delay.
  • Do I need electrical outlets?
Our current system uses an electrical mechanical pump and does require a standard 110/120 outlet to operate. If there is not an electrical outlet available at or near the water heater but another outlet is available nearby and we can tie into that existing electrical line we will do so at no additional cost. If it requires another electrical line and outlet from the electrical panel, that will have to be installed by a licensed electrician and this cost is not included in our price. Our system does not require electrical outlets at the sink For safety reasons we do not recommend or use products that require electric connections at the sink location.
  • Are you insured?
    Yes, we are.
  • Who does the installation?
All work is performed by the Alan, the owner. We do not use any sub contractors.
  • How long does the installation take?
Typical installation takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Additional time may be required to homes with multiple stories, long water pipe runs, electrical connections or the need for additional regulators.
  • Do you offer a warranty?
Our components and installation are guaranteed for 90 days from the installation date, with manufacturer’s warranties covering most parts for between five and ten years

  • What types of water heaters does the system work with?
Our system will work with gas, electric and tank less (on demand) water heaters
  • Does it make noise or vibrate water pipes?
The recirculating pump is very quiet, generating only about 25 decibels during operation. That's just above the sound level rustling leaves make and about 30% lower than modern refrigerators make cycling on and off.
  • Will the system impact my existing plumbing?
No. We do not need to run new plumbing lines or open holes in your walls. It works with your existing household plumbing.
  • How much water will I save?
Larger homes may save up to 15,000 gallons per year and smaller homes perhaps up to 5,000 gallons per year. The amount varies with the number of people in your home, the number of bathrooms, if your home has a laundry in it, how often you shower and wash dishes, etc. Your exact dollar savings will depend on your local water and sewer rates. Water is precious and we can all do our part to use it wisely.
  • Will I have instant hot water at every faucet and shower head?
Yes. How quickly depends on how far the water supply is from the water heater. Usually 1 pump and 1 thermal valve. will provide you hot water within 10 to 20 seconds. We can always install additional thermal valves at other sink locations if needed.
  • What temperature should my water heater be set?
We recommend that water heaters be set with a temperature between 120 and 140 degrees. Any temperature below 120 degrees may allow bacteria to grow in your water heater and temperatures above 140 degrees may produce scalding.
  • Can a timer be installed on the system?
Our Pront On Demand Hot Water Service recirculation system automatically functions 24/7/365. The system can also be configured with Google, Apple or Alexa wireless control devices, non-WI-FI remote controls, or a simple timer.
